Yesterday I was talking to my mum and said 'I need a paddock of pumpkins that need harvesting' meaning to send them out to when they fight and burn off some energy. Sometimes home education looks like kids being uninspired and squabbling because they don't have anywhere else to put their energy. Well, last night at 9pm when they were fighting *again* I directed them to the huge pile of dishes in the kitchen and suggested they say five things they love about each other.
